The Lubbock High Speech and Debate Team has some of the best assistant coaches around, and we mean our returning students! 🖤💛

Huge shoutout to our returners, both those pictured and those not, for stepping up and helping our novices learn the ropes in Cross-Examinadion Debate, Congress, Extemp, Interp, and all of the other events we do.

There’s something special about watching experienced students turn around and teach the next generation of Westerners.

Congratulations to Bobby Christopher for advancing to Quarterfinals in Storytelling!!! What an amazing accomplishment at his first NSDA tournament! During his first year on the team, Bobby’s teammates gave him the Stephen Nedoroscik Award (Stephen is better known as pommel horse guy from the Paris Olympics) because Bobby also works hard, shows up, and wins. It looks like he’s continuing that pattern. Can’t wait to see his next accomplishments!!
