Not somewhere else. Right here in Lubbock. The need is greater today than it has ever been before.

Behind that number are children showing up to school carrying more than backpacks—uncertainty, instability, and the weight of not knowing where they’ll sleep at night.

Our Reach for the Stars campaign is our response to this crisis. We believe every child deserves a safe place to call home and the opportunity to thrive. We believe that together, as a community, we can step in, stand in the gap, and be part of the solution.

✨Welcome, Halle! ✨

Halle will be spending her summer as the Family Promise intern! We couldn't be more excited she's here! Halle is a born-and-raised Lubbock native and an incoming senior at the University of Arkansas, where she is pursuing a degree in Public Health. After graduation, she hopes to continue her education by earning a master’s degree in Social Work and Public Health. 💗

She is passionate about community health advocacy and creating connections that strengthen our community. She is most looking forward to learning and serving alongside the Family Promise team this summer! 🤝

Congratulations to the Blue Team and Captain Paulette Sturdivant on capturing the Laver Cup title! 🎾🏆 What a fantastic event filled with competition, camaraderie, and community spirit.

There’s something special about coming together over a meal and a shared mission.

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to gather with churches from across the Lubbock community for our quarterly meeting. A space filled with collaboration, encouragement, and shared vision for the future of Family Promise.🏡

Together, we discussed new ideas for strengthening support systems, improving the ways we serve families, and creating even deeper partnerships with local churches. We are incredibly grateful for a community that continues to show up with compassion, generosity, and a heart for service.

📣 This Mother’s Day weekend was extra special at Family Promise! 🌷

We had the joy of celebrating two incredible single mothers who graduated from our program. These women have walked through some of life’s toughest challenges with strength, resilience, and determination.

Because of their hard work and perseverance, they are now stepping into a new chapter and a home —and we couldn’t be more proud! 💛
