Praise God for Emma Herbert’s remarkable progress. This morning, Emma is wide awake and enjoying her oral care feedings, touch, and conversations. Last night, she lost four ounces of water retention, and her urine output continues to show significant improvements. By 10:00 a.m. this morning, Emma should be completely off her Nitric Oxide support. They are taking it slow, as she is tolerating the decrease in her nitric oxide levels. Emma’s bloodwork is looking great! Today is an important day for Emma, especially after the nitric oxide treatment. They will work on decreasing her oxygen support levels again. Pray that she tolerates the decrease and that her edema decreases. Emma’s stomach is still swollen and tight. Please continue to pray for her kidneys and lungs. Also, please pray for Tristan and Kaylee Herbert and their NICU team. She is still in critical condition but through God’s grace, the love of God, and the saints. Emma is a miracle baby. A true illustrious warrior.
