What an incredible night at this year’s Lubbock Safari Club Banquet!

An evening filled with great food, fun games, laughter, and lasting memories—but the greatest success wasn’t what happened inside the room. It was the impact we will make because of everyone who showed up, donated, volunteered, and believed in our mission.

While we were blessed to raise money for several local charities, our primary focus this year was the T6 Foundation. Their dedication to training service dogs for our local veterans, children with disabilities, and first responders is truly life-changing. Knowing that our efforts will help provide hope, independence, and healing makes every hour of planning worth it.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible Board Members and every volunteer who gave their time, energy, and heart to make this event such a success. Events like this don’t happen because of one person—they happen because an entire community comes together with a shared purpose.

To everyone who attended, sponsored, donated, bid, and supported us: thank you. Your generosity will continue making a difference long after the banquet is over. I’m already looking forward to what we can accomplish together next year. ❤️

Empowering the next generation to carry on the tradition of hunting is a truly rewarding experience, especially when it involves sharing that moment with your own grandkids. Barry, a member of our Board of Directors, had the privilege of doing just that over the weekend. I'm sure Joel Don Cowart, our Chapter President, shares in the pride of witnessing the passing down of this heritage.

And how about the pic of grandad (Barry)taking a pic of one of the grandsons.

As some members return from Nashville after their highly successful event, Vice President Lance Phares and Board of Directors Kimberly Sue Phares seized the opportunity to pursue Audad's, with Lance making a remarkable achievement. The combination of 30-06 and Swift am******on proved unbeatable. Congratulations on a triumphant hunt!!
