The need is growing, and our children need us now more than ever. Across the South Plains, 32,020 children—more than 1 in 4—are experiencing food insecurity. That’s a 26.9% child food insecurity rate, with 6,050 more children facing hunger than before—a 23.1% increase!

These numbers represent real children in our communities who deserve access to nutritious food and the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive. That’s why we’re committed to bridging the gap. Through our Kitchen of Hope, we prepare nutritious meals all year long to help provide food to children facing hunger across our service area.

Our youth are the future of our community. Together, we can make sure they have the nourishment they need to build a brighter future.
