Big Brothers Big Sisters is a nation-wide federation that has been the leader in
one-to-one mentoring since 1904. There are currently over 450 agencies nationwide working together to invest in our future-the children we serve.

Let's find a Big Brother for Zander!
Zander likes to spend his time playing on his video games, looking at atlases and maps, and learning new languages. He wants to be a weather forecaster when he grows up and would like a Big Brother help him learn different languages and electronics.
Many of our boys spend a great deal of time waiting for their match, often up to twice as long as girls, on average. Let's make sure that doesn't happen for Zayden. If you think you might be the mentor that he's waiting for, don't hesitate to call, come by, or apply to be a Big online today!

Thanks to H-E-B Hunger Relief and the South Plains Food Bank, free food and school supplies will be available on Saturday, July 11, beginning at 10:00 a.m. while supplies last. No registration is required. We encourage our Bigs, Littles, and families to take advantage of this great community resource.

Please help us welcome Jordan and Brylee to the Big Brothers Big Sisters family.
These two are already off to a great start. They have enjoyed spending time swimming together and are looking forward to their next adventure at the Science Spectrum.

At one time there was a need in young MichaelRyan's life, and three years ago, Tony stepped in to fill it, becoming MichaleRyan's Big Brother. Today, as you can see, that match is still going strong, and stands as a testament to the difference one person can make in the life of a child.
There are many young boys like MichaelRyan still waiting for their match right now. Statistically, boys often wait up to twice as long as girls for their Mentor, but you can change that. One hour a week is all we ask! Call, come by or go online for more information, or to volunteer today!

We have another new match to celebrate!
Introducing Adalyn & Hadleigh! These two newly matched Sisters are ready to get their adventure underway and tell us that they plan to play basketball, go out to eat, and make tacos. We can't think of a better way to get this journey going. Congratulations to you both!

Looking for something fun to do this weekend?
Check out this free Ranch Life Summer Series program on Saturday, June 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Learn about horse care and saddling, meet a real horse, enjoy a hands on activity, and discover the unique bond between horse and rider. This is a great opportunity to spend time together, make memories, and learn something new. Admission is free and open to the public!

It's time for Waiting Wednesday! This week we'd like to introduce Samarah.
Samarah likes to spend her time helping others such as being involved in the Pre-Am program that can help older girls with preparing for recreational sports. She wants to be a nail artist or hairstylist when she grows up and would like a Big Sister to help her get better at math.

It's New Match Monday, and sure enough, we've got a delightful new match to celebrate! Send some congratulations to Taylor and Londyn! These two plan to kick their journey together off going to the dog park, swimming, and having a picnic outside. And this is all just the beginning!
