Calling all young thespians! Youth Artist Guild Lubbock has some great specialty classes coming up!

Elementary (kindergarten-5th grade):
Young actors will use games, movement, and vocal activities to learn how to create scenes and develop characters, with a small group of likeminded Actorlings.

Secondary (6th-12th grade):
See your audition on camera! Just knowing all the tricks of the trade will set you apart from other actors and grab the casting director's attention right from the start.

Students will focus on acting techniques by working on memorized material and go through the audition process, starting from the slate through to the last take.
Students will also learn how to put themselves on tape for auditions. Using industry standard self-tape instructions, students will create the shot, lighting, sound, framing, equipment to use, the “dos and don'ts" of self-taping and much more! (Students should bring a memorized monologue and their phone to film their audition.)
