The clocks go back this weekend.
A lot of households use the change as a reminder to check the smoke alarm batteries. It's a good habit, and it works just as well at work.
Add two dates to that routine: when your AED pads expire and when the battery does. Both are printed right on them. Both need replacing on schedule, used or not.
