I've always had a canine in my life and my Heart would always courageously show it's greatness for their wellbeing. Well before becoming a FedEx courier 18yrs ago, I would stop for any and every stray...but since then my job of being on the road has allowed me to be in the elements of a stray dog. I like my job, but I love my passion and I am grateful to be in a position to watch over the strayed
souls. One senior Dachshund mix , Sammy who will be 20yrs old this year and whom I've had since 3mths old. He has been my best friend for almost half my life. Two pitty sisters, Sugar & Coco, 6yrs old, that I found as puppies at an abandoned farm. Shen', my 1yr old blue tick mix that I saved from a hoarding situation. And last but certainly Not least, my MJ and Hershey. Hershey is my 7yrold paraplegic pitty that I found in a field in N.C. about 5 yrs ago while on my FedEx route. She had been hit by a car. And my special girl MJ, my almost 2yr old paraplegic G.S. that was found by a good Samaritan wondering in a parking lot at 6wks old, dragging her rear legs. I took her in. After multiple opinions from specialist, surgery for MJ's abnormal T10 vertebra would not benefit her and would possible make her worse. I love my pack and they along with the 2 or 3 rescues I may have, come first. My Mission for my Non-Profit endeavor is to trap and save strayed souls, as well as search and rescue to return lost pets to their owners. For every life there is a purpose. I realized mine long ago and would rather not do anything else, unless it's spending time with my own Furkids. I pray that I may set many good examples for young and old to follow.. I believe that a dog(God spelled backwards) are little gifts, angels from him, himself. They are put into our lives for reasons.. to teach us about love, forgiveness, patience, trust, will, loyalty, friendship & commitment. They are here to help us learn the lesson, the lesson of life, to be good at "being" so we can move onto a better place, Heaven. That's why animals don't have to stay as long..they already know how to be good at "being". All dogs go to Heaven. Thank you for your time and following :)
