It was a busy day here at the acres. In between the rain. Kay cut grass in the field and has been working on weeding around the Tabernacle Cottage. Pastor John was here cutting grass and trimming most of the day. Pastor Mike and Work on the kitchen and last minute touches in the dining hall. It has been a good day.

A beautiful but busy day. Two special ladies doing some deep cleaning on the shower curtains in the bathhouse. They look fantastic!
Jackie is always hard at work behind the scenes and you can tell each time a flier is posted and the news letter comes out. She does an amazing job.
Pastor Mike and Pastor John have been hard at work catching up on all the grass and it is looking good.
Raegan and Zach came out to help prep for our donor dinner. A few finishing touches and we are ready.
Pastor Mike and I went for an evening walk and got to watch a doe playing with her twin fawns.
It has been a good day.

Our Caravan is at it again.
Our first Caravan meeting for kids kindergarten- 6th grade will be September 12th. We meet in Taylor Chapel 10-11:30am. We are a Christian Scout like program. We also work to help better the camp with projects.
This pond project has been an on going project for the last two years. We have raised beds that will be planted in this fall. They raised money to have a donated barn moved to the camp. And are now saving funds to have a cement slab poured and a rocked area for the picnic benches.
Our mum sell will help us continue to better our pond area. Our paint event in October will also go toward the pond project.

Moving and grooving today around the camp. Pastor Mike, Pastor John and Dale all cutting grass. Camp Steve helping out some of the other residents and I got a good jump on our yard today. Jackie continues to work on the web page, fliers for all our events and is starting on storage!

We stopped today for a little while on the house and Mike cut some camp grass and church office work. Then we went to Columbiana Church of the Nazarene’s VBS. Their VBS offering is going toward our playground project at camp.
We have had several church donate their VBS offerings for this project. We are so very excited to see these funds and the district NMI funds come together and work together for God’s glory.
