The official letters received by VFW National. There are no further meetings scheduled. Monies in the auxiliary account has been dispersed to organizations and veterans in our community.
Both our VFW page and our friends page will be turned off in the very near future. Thank you to all honest veterans, auxiliary and social members that have supported our post for the last 50 years. God bless. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Reminder the Auxiliary meeting will be held tomorrow 6:00 pm at the American legion 548. Sadly this is our FINAL meeting as effective immediately, the VFW Department of Ohio has revoked the charter of our post, the Auxiliary charter will also be revoked. On behalf of our Auxiliary officers we thank everyone for the 45 years of support given to us and the 50 years given to our VFW Post 7490. God bless our honest veterans and families.

Rest in peace Father Mancini . Your support and friendship of our VFW post 7490 will be forever grateful.

Reverend Nicholas Mancini entered eternal life on January 14th, 2026. Please keep him in your prayers. Funeral arrangements will be made public as soon as they are finalized.

Today confirmed that our post and auxiliary continues to serve our community. Two families will have a merry Christmas with donations from our members and with gracious help from a family that wanted to pay it forward! Does not get any better than this.

To all Auxiliary Members of Post 7490:

I have been assured by the District 6 Auxiliary President that THE AUXILIARY CAN operate business as usual. But until our post opens back up, meetings will be held at a different location. Everyone will be notified as we get closer to our next meeting date of January 12, 2026.

All DUES MUST BE PAID by Dec 31. Renewals are $26 and can be mailed to the post - 7459 Columbus Rd. - Attn: Auxiliary Treasurer.

Post 7490 would like to dispel at least one or two of the rumors going around at the moment. Union alliance motorcycle Association and Second Brigade Motorcycle Club have always been exceptionally supportive of our VFW post. No individuals or the groups as collective have ever done anything but support our veterans and community programming. Any issues that have recently come to light are the responsibility and accountability of individuals only, and they belong to neither of these fine motorcycle organizations. Please continue to show union alliance and Second Brigade all the love and support that they’ve shown us. Thank you.
