Daffy Daffy is a modern platform & community for charitable giving. Launched in 2021, Daffy is on a mission to help people be more generous, more often.

Named one of Fast Company’s “Most Innovative Companies of 2024,” Daffy is the Donor-Advised Fund for You™—a modern, fast-growing platform for charitable giving. By removing barriers to giving and bringing innovation to the donor-advised fund space, Daffy makes it easier than ever to give consistently. With no minimum to get started and industry-low fees, Daffy allows anyone to set money aside, invest those funds tax-free, and donate to over 1.7 million U.S. charities—like a 401(k) for giving. Since its launch, Daffy has grown to thousands of members with account sizes ranging from $10 to over $10 million. In 2024 alone, Daffy issued over $40 million in donations—while fund assets more than doubled, growing from $130 million at the end of 2023 to over $324 million by year-end. In 2007, Chris Colter finished cancer treatment. The family had no money, no food.

Years later, he and his wife Tiffany became Daffy members. And one of the first organizations they supported was Vision Ministries in Toledo, a place feeding people in need, just like they once were.

Here’s how they put it:
“We know what it is to be hungry. God has been faithful. We attend Redemption Church, and they support Vision Ministries. We heard about the break-in and want to help you help people in Toledo in need like we were for so many years.”

Behind everyone one of the 100,000 individual donations on Daffy are stories like this one. People who’ve been on the receiving end of generosity, and found a way to give it forward.

We’re proud to share that Daffy members have made more than 100,000 individual donations to charities across the country, representing over $300 million distributed to organizations doing critical work across all 50 states. 🎉

But the numbers only tell part of the story. Behind every donation is a person choosing to help others:
• Maggie supporting a playhouse for children with Down syndrome
• Eileen giving to an organization pairing veterans with rescue dogs
• A couple funding food relief in Toledo because they once knew what it felt like to be hungry themselves

From individual donations of $18 to $8 million, our members support causes of every kind: schools, food pantries, places of worship, disaster relief efforts, local nonprofits, and global organizations making a difference every day.

When we started Daffy in 2021, we had a simple goal: help people be more generous, more often. To every member who has given through Daffy, thank you for making that vision possible with your generosity. 💚

We’re proud to share that Daffy Charitable Fund crossed $1 billion in charitable assets. ✨

Four and a half years, $0 to $1 billion. More than $7 per second, every second, since we launched. But this milestone belongs to our generous members. 🙏

The starters: people who always wanted to give more intentionally, but found existing DAFs out of reach. (Vanguard Charitable requires $25,000 just to open an account.) 63% of Daffy members have accounts under $10,000. They were never the problem. The product just wasn’t built for them. 💚

The switchers: people who already had a DAF but were frustrated by stagnant technology, high fees, and limited features. Since launch, $155M+ has been transferred to Daffy from legacy providers, including $75M from Fidelity alone. They weren’t looking to leave. They were looking for something better.

Both found their way here. And both are giving. 💸

More than $200 million in donation recommendations. Our largest gift: $5M+. Our median: $100. Our minimum: $10. That’s what it means to build a donor-advised fund for everyone.

One of the biggest benefits of a donor-advised fund?

You can set your money aside, get the tax deduction now, and decide where to give when you’re ready.

And with the OBBBA taking effect in 2026 (when charitable deductions will only apply to giving above 0.5% of your AGI) there are exactly 3 days left in 2025 to lock in the deduction now and give with more peace of mind in 2026.
