🌼 Have you discovered “Inflorescence”?

Located at 250 Third Street in the Paseo next to Yoshi Sushi, “Inflorescence” is an immersive art installation created by San Francisco artists Liz Hickok and Phil Spitler.

By scanning the QR code at the site, you’ll be directed to a website that brings the mural to life!

Next time you’re in downtown Los Altos, stop by the Paseo and take a closer look at “Inflorescence”!

🌈✨Arts Los Altos wouldn’t be what it is today without our amazing community!

Take a look back at this video, where our community came together to learn about the evolution of street art, practice spray-paint techniques, and collaborate on creating the Los Altos Community Mural.

Together, they transformed a once-drab wall into a vibrant work of art on the side of Reitmeir’s Werkstatt, just off First Street.

We’re grateful to everyone who came together to make this community project possible!

🎨Join us this Friday for our First Friday Walking Tour and experience the stories behind our public art while connecting with fellow community members.

But the evening doesn’t end there! Following the walking tour, join us for our Meet the Artist event celebrating the new mural, “Baylands Sunrise,” beginning at 6:15 PM. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet artists Elaine Chu and Marina Perez-Wong, learn about the inspiration behind the mural, and celebrate another exciting addition to our public art collection.

“Welcome to Redwood Grove” was created in 2024 during the Los Altos Arts & Wine Festival, where hundreds of community members helped bring artist Jorge Juarez’s vision to life, making this mural a true community collaboration.
