🍂Brrr, it’s getting chilly outside! Warm up with a coffee and pastry from GK Pastry while admiring “Pie in the Sky” by local artist Morgan Bricca!

Inspired by artist Wayne Thiebaud, this colorful mural celebrates the delicious creations of GK Pastry’s master baker, Gulnoza Khaytenova.
Make it your next coffee stop and discover this sweet piece of public art!

🌳 Meet “Grateful Harvest”.

Located at Kozy Brothers DeMartini Orchard. This mural by San José artist Francisco Ramirez celebrates the connection between people, nature, agriculture, and the food we enjoy.

Inspired by Ramirez’s own experience working in the orchards as a teenager, “Grateful Harvest” honors the hard work behind every harvest while celebrating the rich history of DeMartini Orchard, Los Altos’ oldest business.

🎨La Cosecha was designed by Guadalajara-based artist Rocca Luis César, inspired by harvest, family, and the colors of traditional Talavera pottery.

Arts Los Altos helped fund and coordinate the project, while local muralist Nigel Sussman brought the design to life.

Located in the patio of Tal Palo Café in downtown Los Altos, this mural is a beautiful addition to our local art scene. Can be sited from San Antonio Road.

🎨 Arts Los Altos is collaborating with Salt & Poetry for a FREE evening celebrating public art and poetry in downtown Los Altos!

Join us Friday, September 11 at 5:30 PM for a walking tour featuring Bay Area poets performing original poems alongside selected Arts Los Altos murals and city sculptures.

📍 Meet: “Los Hills” mural, 260 State Street

The tour will end at “California Birds, Stewards of the Environment,” mural at 275 Third Street, with a reception featuring fun activities, food, and beverages!

Bring your friends and family and join us for an evening of art, poetry, creativity, and community. 💛

🌼 Have you discovered “Inflorescence”?

Located at 250 Third Street in the Paseo next to Yoshi Sushi, “Inflorescence” is an immersive art installation created by San Francisco artists Liz Hickok and Phil Spitler.

By scanning the QR code at the site, you’ll be directed to a website that brings the mural to life!

Next time you’re in downtown Los Altos, stop by the Paseo and take a closer look at “Inflorescence”!

🌈✨Arts Los Altos wouldn’t be what it is today without our amazing community!

Take a look back at this video, where our community came together to learn about the evolution of street art, practice spray-paint techniques, and collaborate on creating the Los Altos Community Mural.

Together, they transformed a once-drab wall into a vibrant work of art on the side of Reitmeir’s Werkstatt, just off First Street.

We’re grateful to everyone who came together to make this community project possible!
