I am deeply honored and humbled to be named the 2026 Radio Personality of the Year at The Sound Awards.

What a blessing it has been to use my voice to inform, inspire, encourage, empower, and advocate for our communities. This recognition is not just about me—it reflects every listener, guest, supporter, family member, friend, and community partner who has believed in me and supported this journey.

Radio has never been just a microphone for me. It has been a ministry, a platform, and a calling. Every morning behind the mic, I strive to make a difference, amplify voices that need to be heard, and bring hope to those who may need encouragement.

HONORED TO SERVE

On yesterday, I was officially sworn in as a Board Member of the Mental Health, Addiction and Recovery Services (MHARS) Board (2nd term).

I am deeply honored and humbled by the opportunity to serve our community in this important capacity. Mental health and recovery services are critical to the well-being of individuals, families, and communities, and I look forward to contributing to efforts that expand access, strengthen support systems, and help improve lives throughout Lorain County.

As someone who has dedicated my life to service, advocacy, leadership, and empowering others, I am grateful for the trust placed in me and committed to helping advance the mission of MHARS.

Thank you to everyone who has encouraged and supported me along this journey. I look forward to serving with integrity, compassion, and purpose.

WNZN Power 89.1 is calling on our broader community, pastors, faith leaders, the Urban League, NAACP, YWCA, City Council, and all concerned residents to join us in respectfully asking for transparency, accountability, and clear answers regarding the June 20 incident at Elyria’s Juneteenth celebration. As more facts become available, our community deserves to understand what happened, what protocols were followed, and whether the use of force was appropriate. No rumors. No reckless accusations. Just truth, clarity, accountability, and respect for the people.
