Many of you may or may not that my daughter and I are teaching bike camps throughout the county for Lorain county public health. The oberlin camp has a low number of participants and enrollment is open. You do not need to be a student at oberlin schools in order to participate.

With great excitement, we are announcing that we are at full capacity for our Summer Camp!!!! We are no longer taking registrations. We cannot wait for Summer to come and start this fun adventure with a new group of kids! Thank you to everyone who signed up! ☀️

Today is the bid due date for Painsville skatepark. Bids are due for our park on the 27th and will be opened at council chambers at 11:15 a.m.

The bid package is back out to bid as of today. It’ll be up for two weeks and then will have to go before council. Hopefully it goes for emergency approval. We’re hoping this process goes swiftly as we need to break around sooner than later.

We were informed by councilwoman Mary Springkowski that the skate park has been pulled from Monday’s committee meeting agenda.

The 17,000-square-foot Longfellow Skatepark, championed by native Chad Muska and others, will break ground this year and be completed by November.
