Here are a few pictures of the Seal Beach Lions 🦁 in Memphis at the USA | Canada Lions Leadership Forum!

It’s been 3 days of nonstop learning, leading, friendship, collaborating, volunteering, and connecting with Lions from all across the United States and Canada. ❤️🦁

We’ve attended incredible seminars, exchanged ideas with other clubs and leaders, shared stories about what’s working in our communities, and gained so much inspiration to bring back home to Seal Beach.

One of my favorite parts of Lions is being reminded that while every club and community may be different, we are all connected by the same heart for service and the same desire to make a difference. “We Serve” is so much more than a motto — it’s something you truly feel when you’re surrounded by thousands of Lions who are passionate about helping others.

There has also been plenty of laughter, new friendships, great conversations, and memories made along the way. 💕

I’m heading home feeling inspired, energized, and grateful for the opportunity to represent the Seal Beach Lions Club and to continue growing as a Lion and as a leader.

Calling all creative Seal Beach Lions!

Would you like to help create a quilt square representing the Seal Beach Lions Club?

MD4 Lions for Access is bringing Lions together through the Patchwork of Purpose Project—a creative service project inspired by International Week of Lions Vision Service, October 8–18. We’re looking for a crafty Lion—or a small team of Lions—to design and create a square that represents the heart, service, and spirit of the Seal Beach Lions Club.

🎨✨ MEET THE MAKER! ✨🎨

Our next featured artist for the 48th Annual Seal Beach Lions Arts & Crafts Faire is Courtney Karkowski of CMax-Ski Art! Courtney Karwowski

Courtney is a Huntington Beach artist who has been creating for more than 20 years, using acrylic paint and abstract art to express color, emotion and feeling. Her work is bold, vibrant and deeply personal, often inspired by what’s happening in the world, what she’s studying, and the emotions connected to those experiences.

At her booth, you’ll find abstract artwork on all kinds of unexpected surfaces — including canvas, flat boards, shoes, dresses, puzzles and more! Every piece is designed to make you look a little closer and feel something along the way. 💕🖌️

Courtney will also be bringing two new collections to this year’s Faire, including pieces centered around communication, media, and the way we process the world around us.

💌✨ MEET THE MAKER! ✨💌

Our next featured artisan for the 48th Annual Seal Beach Lions Arts & Crafts Faire is Elisa Goodman of Curmudgeon Cards! Elisa R. Goodman

With more than 26 years of creativity behind her, Elisa brings plenty of personality, humor and originality to her work. She creates handmade collage greeting cards using real postage stamps dating from the 1950s to today, embellished with colorful upcycled textiles — making each card truly one of a kind.

She’s also a self-taught digital illustrator creating whimsical, quirky and sometimes wonderfully snarky artwork inspired by life, humor and all the things that make us human. 😂❤️

What makes her work especially fun? There’s something for everyone — and she can even create custom cards while you visit!

As Elisa puts it, her work is all about creating connection in a world of texts and emails, giving people something personal, unique and meaningful to share.
