This session brings together four occupational therapy professionals whose work spans research, clinical practice, education, and Ayres Sensory Integration® across South Africa, Mexico, and the United States.

👋 Meet our guests:

Ma**ca Botha, OT, PhD candidate — Lecturer and researcher whose PhD work focuses on sensory integration patterns and the EASI.

Lourdes Guzman, MS OT — Founder and President of AMIS in Mexico, with more than 30 years of experience in child development, learning difficulties, and sensory integration.

Daniela Lopez, MS OT — Developmental psychologist and occupational therapist with more than 30 years of pediatric clinical experience and extensive experience in education.

Katie Oien, OTD, OTR/L — Occupational therapist and early intervention specialist whose doctoral research examined sensory integration and social participation in the ADHD population.

Together, they’ll explore a scoping review of sensory integration patterns, patterns emerging in the ADHD population, and clinical analyses using the EASI, including progress following intervention.
