PICTURE DAY + FIELD CLEAN UP DAY!

This Saturday, August 29th is a busy day for Lompoc AYSO! Picture Day and our Annual Field Clean Up Day are happening on the same day at River Bend Soccer Fields.

📸 PICTURE DAY
Please check the schedule for your division and team’s assigned picture time. Coaches, please have your team name selected before arriving and make sure your team arrives within its scheduled time slot.

🧹 FIELD CLEAN UP DAY
⏰ 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
📍 River Bend Soccer Fields

We need our AYSO families and community to help us get the fields ready for the upcoming season! Bring your family and anything that may help—gloves, trash bags, shovels, w**d whackers, wheelbarrows, and more.

No sign-up necessary — all volunteers are welcome! Every helping hand makes a difference. We’ll see you Saturday!

We will be holding in-person training for our 10U and 12U coaches on Sunday, August 30 at Riverbend Park!

We’re currently working behind the scenes to get teams formed, coaches assigned, and everything ready for the upcoming season. You should be hearing from us soon, so hang tight!

In the meantime, if you’re a new coach or you’re moving up to coach a new division, please check out this handy infographic for upcoming coach certification opportunities.

Some of these trainings are coming up FAST, so please log into AYSOU soon to check your requirements, complete your online coursework, and register for an in-person training.

To get every team on the field, Lompoc AYSO Region 77 still needs volunteer head coaches:

🔵 8U Boys: At least 3 more
🟡 8U Girls: At least 2 more
🔵 10U Boys: At least 4 more
🟡 14U Girls: At least 4 more

If you’ve been thinking about coaching, now is the time! No experience is necessary, and training and support are provided.
