Little Compton Celebrates America 250 will enjoy a free Johnny Cake and Sausage Breakfast (while supplies last) listening to the music of Gary Farias at 11am today, Sunday, August 16th.

Followed by our Patriotic Program, thoughtfully designed by Caroline Wilkie Wordell, so you know it will be very special.

The Declaration of Independence will be read by Little Compton veterans.

Patriotic songs will be sung.

Several militia soldiers from the Newport Artillery Company will be firing a musket salute to the nation’s 250th!

There will be a live auction of very unique items.

Beautifully designed Birthday Cupcakes are being served by Kristine Aguiar.

And we will be selling the last of our merchandise.

The tent was packed tonight with people overflowing out the sides during the showing of The Kinnane Brothers film Solo Mio!!
LC came out to enjoy a lovely summer evening with music and food.
Perfect way to start out a great weekend.

We have a fantastic day planned for tomorrow!!
Little Compton Celebrates America 250 with Family Day and Farmers Day starting at 12PM Noon, Saturday, August 15th.
Mr. Mac and Mr. Montel are planning Field Day Games for kids of all ages from 1-4pm.
Anita’s Ice Cream Trucks is providing Feeze Pops for participating kids.
We have Pony Rides, Petting Zoo, Bouncy House, Hayrides, Face Painting, Antique Tractor Display.
What's more American than an Apple Pie Baking Contest!! Contact Edi Marion for details (see pic below).

In the evening The Barnacle Brothers are playing at 5:30pm, followed by Mr. Chubb at 7pm.
Then FIREWORKS!!!
Will the display be just as good as last year? Come on down to Richmond's Field and find out.
