Calling all water researchers!!! WQRF is excited to announce a new RFP! We are soliciting proposals to re-evaluate our 2009 Energy Savings study. The original study provided compelling evidence that the softened water significantly improves the performance and longevity of household water heaters, fixtures, and appliances, while also reducing energy consumption and carbon footprint. A notice of intent (NOI) is due June 15, 2026 and the full proposal is due July 24, 2026. Go to wqrf.org/open-rfps to view the full RFP.
