HUM proudly joined hands with SewaDiwali Sewa Diwali and several other nonprofit organisations for this year’s Sewa Diwali Food Donation Drive.

On Nov 20, our collective effort delivered 4,016 lbs of food plus $3,116 in cash donations to Loaves & Fishes Community Services — and since the pantry can purchase 7 lbs of food per dollar, this support helped provide nearly 25,800 lbs of food to families in need.

HUM is grateful to have contributed approximately 850 lbs of food to this incredible community initiative.

Together, we continue to uplift, nourish, and strengthen our community.

HUM is proud to announce our continued partnership with Sewa Diwali and several community organizations for the 4th consecutive year to year to host the Sewa Diwali 2025 Food Donation Drive — supporting local food pantries across the Chicagoland area.

Senior Citizens Tech Help Session by HUM Team!

With the support of our incredible volunteers, we assisted senior citizens in navigating technology—whether it was learning to use smartphones, setting up apps, managing emails, or understanding online services. It was heartwarming to see their smiles and the confidence they gained in using these tools!

Together, we’re bridging the digital divide and empowering our community, one step at a time.

Skill Up with Art: Painting & Creativity 2 Days Workshop was a huge success! 🙌 All the participants had an amazing time exploring their creativity, learning new painting techniques, and most importantly, developing valuable artistic skills that they can continue to grow.

Throughout the workshop, participants not only enjoyed creating beautiful artwork but also gained confidence in their artistic abilities and learned how to express themselves through colors and brushstrokes. 🌟
