Landen was born with Primordial dwarfism and DNA Ligase 4 deficiency. In honor of his memory his parents have created the "Landen's Story Foundation."

In 2017, he had a bone marrow transplant and due to complications passed away in September of 2019. The Landen's Story Foundation was organized to assist families who have experienced the death of a child or currently have a child battling a rare diagnosis by providing financial aid to help offset the costs of medical care, counseling, funeral costs, everyday living expenses etc. The Landen’s Story Foundation will work locally with the Levine Children’s Hospital to understand the needs of families and serve to help meet those needs.

Hard to believe that it’s been seven years… Amanda said last night it feels like a lifetime ago but then again it doesn’t. Thankful for Landen‘s Nana and PaPaw providing the flowers and family that was able to gather with us today.

A good friend and brother in Christ sent me this today-“Robert Morgan says in his book, The Red Sea Rules- ‘The same God that led you in, will lead you out!‘“

The most tragic day of our lives was the most triumphant day of Landen's life. Today, we remember Landen. His life and his legacy of faith.

January 24, 2010 - September 13, 2019

Seven years later we still meet people who recognize us as Landen's parents and share with us the impact God used him to make in their lives.
