What a great evening of fellowship with our Brothers in the Charles Q. Petty SCV Camp. As always they put on a wonderful Lee - Jackson Banquet. We were honored to attend and look forward to attending next year's event.

What an exciting night at Camp meeting tonight!
We had an excellent program on Confederate Cavalry Scout Manson Jolly from South Carolina. His real life exploits made him sound like a real "Outlaw Josey Wailes". Our very own Color Sgt. Dan Beals gave the presentation. Then we had a Camp member win our card game and donated his half back to the Camp. Thanks Rick for your incredible generosity.
Finally we unveiled our new Camp pop up tent. The manufacturer did a great job with it and we can't wait to use it at the Apple Festival.
2026 is looking good for the Hoke Camp!!

Special presentation tonight at our November Camp meeting.
The Camp members conducted a panel discussion on the ties between the American Revolution and the War of Northern Aggression. Tonight's panelists included Commander Jody Avery, Color Sgt. Dan Beal, Rick Hubbard and Jim McCauley. What a great presentation, well done gentlemen!

We had an excellent turnout for our annual Author Talk on November 8. Michael C. Hardy spoke on the Civil War as it affected Lincoln County and there was a lot we didn't know!
