Lukes Playhouse Wellness Center & Gym Designed to provide aquatic therapy for children and adults with chronic illnesses. In order to do make this dream a reality we need your help!

Our goal is to provide individuals including adults, children, and veterans with disabilities or chronic health conditions a place where they can receive aquatic therapy by a licensed physical therapist and the use of a full-size gymnasium for special needs sporting events at little to no costs. Our son, Luke, was born with Spinia Bifida in 2009 which has forever changed our lives in a positive wa

y! Luke is full of energy and to enjoys traveling, meeting new people, attending contemporary Christian Concerts and conversating with others. He loves to share his journey with others to show that just because you have a disability doesn't mean you can't do something. Over the years we as a family have hosted Spinia Bifida Awareness Day as well as participated in many adaptative activities which includes water skiing, snow skiing, basketball, baseball and adaptative surfing. Luke has learned that if he wants to do something then we make it happen by adapting the activity to enable him to participate. We quickly learned that many facilities are not handicap accessible, costs for therapy such as physical, occupational, music, and speech are very high for therapy and well as limited with insurance. We would love to be able to build a facility that is fully handicap accessible and offer a wide range of services to families for free when insurance is not available. Please consider donating, sharing our story and reaching out if you have any questions. Together we can make this happen. We can bring children and families together with chronic illnesses and allow them a safe place for therapy and loads of fun activities.

🚨NEWS🚨

Alright, let’s try this again… Same team, same scheme, same goal. I will be making my ARCA RACING SERIES debut with Fast Track Racing Enterprises, Inc. on June 14th at Iowa Speedway! May not be Memorial Day weekend, but I’ll still be carrying the names honoring both PFC Zachary Riffle, and LCpl Jonathan Gierke on the car!

Beyond excited, and motivated to make the most of this opportunity to showcase my determination of making it in this sport.

Spina Bifida family…we are building our Lukes Playhouse Wellness Center & Gym page and need photos of kids! If you are willing to let me share some photos old or new please let me know! We are hoping to host another Spina Bifida Awarness Day this year sponsored by our non-profit Lukes Playhouse.

Currently looking for a location and then will be asking vendors to attend that play a role in the Spina Bifida Community with some surprise guests!

What an exciting night for Luke Rainwater who was able to attend the Arca and Truck Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway! He meet a ton of drivers, received two signed hats, snapped pics with many, enjoyed the SRI Performance hauler and is ready for more! One of his favorites drivrs, Kaden Honeycutt won stage 1 and finished the race 8th after a few pit stop issues. Thanks to his big brother Noah Rainwater and SRI for providing the tickets. He can’t wait for Sunday!
