Members of our Board of Directors dropped by both Amy's Closet non-profit ReSale Boutique locations with some treats to say Thank You to their AMAZING Volunteers.

These women (& supportive men) are the heartbeat of our organization and we know we couldn't do what we do for survivors without them!

Did you know that these incredible shops are fully staffed by dedicated volunteers? These lovely faces only capture a few of our expansive volunteer team, but we are thankful for each and every one of them!

Stop in and say Hello and thank them for all they do!

🌸 April is Volunteer Appreciation Month 🌸

At Amy’s House and Amy’s Closet, we pause this month to recognize the incredible hearts behind our mission: Our Volunteers.

You are the quiet strength behind every success story.
You are the helping hands that sort, organize, listen, encourage, and love - often without recognition.
You are the reason so many women and families feel seen, supported, and not alone.

Because of you…
✨ A mother finds safety.
✨ A child feels comfort.
✨ A survivor begins again.

From the racks at Amy’s Closet to the landscape and daily operations at Amy’s House, your time, compassion, and dedication are making a lasting impact in ways that words can never fully express.

We do not take a single moment, task, or act of kindness for granted.

đź’ś You are the heartbeat of this mission.
đź’ś You are changing lives.
đź’ś You are deeply appreciated.

With gratitude beyond measure,
Thank you for standing with us.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month - a time to come together as a community to raise awareness, support survivors, and commit to prevention through education and action.

At Amy’s House, we stand with survivors every single day. Sexual assault is not just an individual issue. It impacts families, communities, and generations. It can happen to anyone, regardless of age, gender, or background. And far too often, it happens in silence.

We believe in breaking that silence.

Through advocacy, safe shelter, and compassionate support, Amy’s House provides a safe place to heal for individuals and families affected by sexual violence. We are committed to creating an environment where survivors are heard, believed, and empowered to reclaim their lives.

This month, we encourage our community to:
• Learn the facts about sexual assault and its impact
• Support survivors by listening without judgment
• Speak up against harmful behaviors and attitudes
• Share resources and help connect others to support

Awareness leads to action, and action leads to change.

Together, we can build a community where safety, respect, and dignity are the standard - Not the exception.

If you or someone you know needs support, Amy’s House is here. You are not alone.

💝 This Valentine’s Day, Share a Little Love Where It’s Needed Most 💝

For the children staying in our Emergency Domestic Violence Shelter, Valentine’s Day can feel confusing and heavy. Many have left home suddenly, bringing very little with them - but they deserve to feel safe, cared for, and loved.

We’re asking our community to help us make this Valentine’s Day brighter for the children in our care. 💕

Donations of new items such as:

Small toys or games
Stuffed animals
Coloring books & crayons
Valentine treats (individually wrapped)
Comfort items for all ages

Your kindness helps remind these children that they are not alone and that love still exists—even in hard moments.

📍 Donations can be dropped off at either Amy's Closet non-profit ReSale Boutique locations in Lincolnton & Denver.

Thank you for being part of our safe, loving community. đź’ž
