✨ Meet Ellie: Professional Plopper, Food Enthusiast & Full-Time Sass Queen ✨

Ellie is between 2–3 years old and came to us as a kitten with her brother Jasper, who has long since found his forever home. Somehow, this gorgeous girl is still waiting for hers. 🥹

Ellie is incredibly affectionate and absolutely loves her people. When it comes to other cats? She chooses her own tribe. Some she gets along with beautifully…and some receive a firm “absolutely not.” 😂

A few things you should know about Ellie:

🧼 She takes grooming VERY seriously. If Ellie just cleaned a spot and you dare touch it, expect the stink eye followed by an immediate re-cleaning. You have disrupted the process. How dare you.

😂 She is a professional “plopper.” What’s a plopper? It’s when a rather substantial cat walks over, climbs into your lap, and dramatically PLOPS herself down like she’s granting you an honor you didn’t even know you deserved.

🍽️ She loves food. We will not be discussing the belly pictured here. Ellie did not approve its release to the public.

✂️ And yes, she looks like her mom cut her bangs WAY too short and she has been holding a grudge ever since.
Disclaimer: No scissors have ever touched Ellie’s face. Those bangs are 100% natural. 😂

Basically, Ellie is a 10/10 for love and affection and maybe a 3/10 for attitude…depending on whether you touched freshly cleaned fur.

She’s funny, affectionate, beautiful, slightly judgmental, and completely ready to find the person who appreciates every bit of her personality. 🧡🐾

Every open foster home gives us the opportunity to say YES to another animal who needs us. If you’ve ever thought about fostering, maybe now is your time! Come meet us, ask questions, hang out with our team, and see what being part of the Max Raven village is all about. 🧡

🐾 Meet Emma — President & CEO of the “Humans Are Better Than Cats” Club. 😹❤️

Emma is between 2–3 years old, incredibly loving, wonderfully vocal, and has made one thing pretty clear: she prefers her relationships with the two-legged variety.

Other cats? Meh. 😂

Emma has lived with plenty of them—including her own kittens, Tillie and Leroy—and apparently motherhood was enough feline interaction for one lifetime. She did her time. She raised the kids. She’s ready for retirement. 😂

She isn’t aggressive, but she definitely gives other cats her best grumpy face and prefers they respect her personal space. There are a select few she tolerates, so she may be able to live with one carefully matched cat, but we think Emma would be perfectly happy ruling the house as the only feline.

🐶 Dogs, however? Totally fine! Emma has been fostered around many dogs and does well with them, so a cat-friendly canine sibling could actually be a great match.

❤️ And with her humans? That’s where Emma shines.

She LOVES being petted, will snuggle right next to her person for love and attention, and is more than happy to carry on a conversation with you. Emma is definitely more vocal than your average kitty, so you’ll never have to wonder what she’s thinking!

We also believe Emma may have experienced some type of head trauma before coming into foster care. She frequently squints her eyes and has a few little quirks that make her uniquely Emma—but none of that stops this girl from loving her people.

Emma’s dream home:
🐾 Only cat or possibly ONE carefully matched feline roommate
🐶 Cat-friendly dogs are welcome
❤️ Humans who appreciate a snuggly, opinionated lady
🏡 A comfy spot next to her person where she can collect unlimited pets

Some cats want a house full of feline friends.

Emma wants a human, a comfy couch, and for the other cats to kindly mind their own business. 😂❤️

Hi, it’s me, Sunny! ☀️🐾

I really love my foster momma and my foster brother Archie. ❤️ But I’m ready to get settled in with a forever family of my very own! 🏡

I LOVE humans and all the attention, cuddles, and kisses that come with them! 🥰 When it comes to other dogs, I just need a little extra time to warm up and feel comfortable.

I could be happy with a fur brother or sister with slow, proper introductions, but I would also do great in a single-dog home where I can soak up all the love for myself! ❤️

I’m sweet, affectionate, and once I know I’m safe, I’m definitely a lover. I just need someone willing to give me a little patience while I settle in.

Come on, Max Raven Village! 🧡🐾 Help me find my perfect forever home! Even if I’m not the girl for you, a share might help me find the person who is. 🥹❤️

We’re helping spread the word for these two sweet dogs who are looking for their forever families. While they are not currently in the care of Max Raven Animal Rescue, we’re happy to help share their stories and hopefully connect them with the right homes. ❤️

🐾 Charlie — 10-year-old Corgi

Charlie is a sweet senior boy looking for a loving home to enjoy his golden years. 🥹🩷

✔️ Fully vaccinated
✔️ Easy to care for
✔️ Sweet and affectionate
✔️ Ready for a loving companion and a soft place to land

🐾 Female Bully Mix — 2–3 years old

This sweet girl was found as a skinny stray with no microchip, and no owner came forward. She is now fully vaccinated and looking for a fresh start. ❤️

✔️ House trained
✔️ Knows “sit”
✔️ Improving on leash
✔️ Affectionate, playful & loves to cuddle
✔️ Does well with structure and routine

🚫 No cats
🚫 No small children due to size/energy
🐶 Best as an only dog or potentially with an older, confident male dog

🏡 Both dogs are hoping someone sees this post and says, “That’s the one.” If you can’t adopt, please SHARE—you never know who might see it! 🩷🐾
