Earlier this evening we had our third weekly food and resource distribution, and our first at the new location at the park on 25th and T street. We'd like to thank those who stopped by, those who helped out, and Jill and Tim from Hawley Hamlet who donated homegrown garlic, onions and kale as well as told us about their awesome work in this area. Come join us every Saturday from 5-6pm at our new location at 25th and T to grab some food and other essentials and just hang out.

The majority of our seedlings are out for the “hardening off” period, where they get acclimated to outdoor conditions before being transplanted. If you’re interested in any of these seedlings: peppers (bell, shish*to, banana), basil, alyssum, sunflowers, cantaloupe, watermelon, okra, tomatoes (large cherry and roma). Dm us or leave a comment below and we will reach out! Otherwise, you can e-mail [email protected] we are happy to provide any and all information about how to take care/transplant your seedlings once they are in your care. 🌱

The spring garden has sprung! Onions, radishes, lettuce, peas and celery (as well as some persistent dandelions) are all in the ground. Carrots have started germinating under the burlap, and cilantro and parsley are on their way as well. Kale and potatoes are in pots/grow bags on the porch. Excited to get this produce to our neighbors and looking forward to a fruitful growing season 😊 🌱
