The CEF Nebraska State Board is pleased to announce that Esther Beasley has accepted the role of State Coordinator for CEF Nebraska, effective Oct. 5.
Esther's journey with CEF began in 2007 when she attended Christian Youth in Action (CYIA) for the first time. What began as a summer ministry opportunity developed into a calling to reach children and equip others for ministry. In May 2013, Esther joined the staff of CEF Omaha, and in 2019, she stepped into the role of Local Director.
During Esther's leadership, God has brought significant growth and development to CEF Omaha. The ministry has grown from partnering with 19 churches to more than 50, while its annual budget has nearly quadrupled to support the expanding work. Just as importantly, Esther has intentionally invested in developing leaders and building a strong staff team that is prepared to continue leading CEF Omaha as she steps into this new role.
Esther brings to the State Coordinator role a passion for leadership development, a heart for greater unity and collaboration across CEF in Nebraska, and a deep commitment to working alongside the local church to reach children with the Gospel. She holds an associate degree in Children's Ministry from Calvary University and attends Bridge Church in Omaha.
Esther and her husband, Terrill, will continue to make their home in Omaha while she serves part of each week from the CEF state office in Lincoln and travels throughout the state to serve our chapters, staff, and local ministries.
We are grateful for the years God has used to prepare Esther for this new responsibility and are excited to see how He will use her experience and leadership to strengthen CEF across Nebraska.
"Please join the State Board in praying for Esther as she begins this new season of leadership and for our staff, chapters, volunteers, and churches across Nebraska as we continue seeking God's direction together," said Steve Hughes, CEF State Board Chairman.
