Hey Friends…
It’s go time! I have a position open at the associations. Not trying to kid anyone. It is a busy job. We have a lot going on, but we support amazing members. If you know anyone looking for an administrative assistant position, who also loves to manage events and can manage our training, I would love to talk to them. There is an option to split this into 2 part time roles. If we run that way, the education piece can be a mom who only wants to work 20 hours a week September to May and an events person who wants to work 30 hours a week on average, but can pull more hours during our events.
Share, please…

MAKE IT HOME MONDAY: Hydration and Fatigue
Why It Matters:
Long shifts and physical work can quickly lead to fatigue and dehydration. When workers are tired or dehydrated, reaction times slow and mistakes become more likely.
Common Hazards:
Heat stress and dehydration
Reduced focus and slower reactions
Overexertion during long shifts
Poor decision-making due to fatigue
Key Safety Actions:
Drink water regularly throughout the day
Take breaks as needed to recover
Watch coworkers for signs of fatigue or heat illness
Speak up if you need a break
Crew Check-In:
Does everyone have access to water?
Are crews taking breaks when needed?
Final Reminder:
Stay hydrated, stay alert, and look out for each other. Make it home Monday.

Safety doesn’t end when the week does.
Construction Safety Week is built on one idea: we’re all in this together. From planning to ex*****on, every person plays a role in preventing serious injuries and keeping crews safe.
Let’s carry that mindset forward
on every project, every day.

Respect the work. Respect the risks. Respect each other.
Every role on a job site matters, and every decision impacts someone’s safety. Construction Safety Week reminds us that respecting hazards and people is how we build a stronger safety culture.
Because at the end of the day, it’s about getting everyone home safe.

Recognizing hazards is step one, taking action is what saves lives.
Whether it’s stopping work, adjusting a plan, or speaking up, responding to risks in real time protects everyone on site.
Safety isn’t just awareness
it’s action.
