God's Word Taking Root!

At the end of club last week, a parent shared how thankful she was for Good News Club at her child's school! It was her son's first time attending, and he loved it! As she was sharing, he eagerly chimed in by reciting nearly all of John 3:36, the memory verse from that day! What an encouragement to see God's Word being remembered!

Thank you to Heritage Bible Church of Lincoln, NE for partnering with CEF Lincoln to share the Gospel with children in our community!

We’re thankful for the opportunity to partner with Parkview Christian School and encourage the next generation to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

to welcome CEF Lincoln (Child Evangelism Fellowship) to speak to our 7th grade students about how to evangelize to other young people. The CEF staff members are experts at not only teaching the Gospel to students but also helping students develop skills to share the Gospel and teach Biblical truth to others.

On September 12th, we kicked off the school year with our Good News Club Kickoff and Workshop! It was a wonderful time of fellowship, encouragement, and growing together as we learned how to better reach the kids God has entrusted to us.

Praise God for the work He is doing through Good News Clubs! Please continue to pray for all of our amazing volunteers as they faithfully serve and share the Gospel with kids throughout the school year. ❤️

On August 29th, Anchor Bible Church held their annual Bible Conference, and CEF had the opportunity to join a group of wonderful volunteers to host a Treasure Party Club for the kids!
We had such a great time preparing for this event and serving the church in this special way. The kids enjoyed a full morning of crafts, songs, Bible lessons, and an exciting scavenger hunt!
We’re so thankful for the opportunity to share God’s Word with these kids and for everyone who helped make the morning possible!

And that's a wrap for our 2026 Summer Ministries!! We're so thankful for our CYIA Students and volunteers who spent their summer reaching children with the Gospel of Christ. We loved getting to celebrate their hard work with a trip to Worlds of Fun!

Reese Thomas has been involved with Child Evangelism Fellowship since 2022 and is beyond excited to continue his ministry as the Lincoln Chapter’s Ministry Coordinator Intern. He has a heart for evangelism and is very passionate about reaching kids in the community!
Reese grew up in a Christian home and came to know Christ when he was 13. In his free time he enjoys running, fishing, watching baseball, playing with his 3 dogs, and is always down for a karaoke night. Reese plays violin in the Lincoln Youth Symphony, and he plans on continuing his studies in violin and hopes to one day become a conductor! He is very excited to see what God has planned for him and we are excited to welcome him to our team!
