Thank you to the Women to Women Giving Circle of the Illinois Prairie Community Foundation for giving us the opportunity to update members on our tiny food pantry project. Lincoln Woman's Club was the recipient of a $4,000 grant to support the pantry for our community. Terri McDowell, co-chair of the project and author of the grant request, represented the Lincoln Woman's Club at the annual summer celebration. Thank you to Women to Women for all you do to support our communities!

The historic Lincoln Woman's Club building has gotten quite the facelift, thanks to the repair and replacement of the cornice at the front of the building. This project was made possible through funding from the Woods Foundation, which provided a $15,000 grant to cover the cost of the repair. The Woods Foundation is made possible through the generosity of Robert J. Woods and Joan Jarrett Woods through the creation of the Woods Foundation. Thank you to Carolyn Arnold, Second Vice President, for oversight of the project and to Susan Rohrer, Past President for her work and support of the project.
