🎬 The 15th Prairie Pride Film Festival kicks off this Friday, August 28th! Here's some of what you'll see this weekend.

→ A grieving son's mother picks up a camera and animates her own mother back to life in TheyDream.
→ Trans and nonbinary comedians take apart the most notorious gender joke in SNL history in We Are Pat.
→ A ridiculous high school scheme turn into a real-life coming-out story in She's the He.
→ A Michoacán rodeo with a whole q***r world running behind the scenes in Jaripeo.
→ A dumped space princess has only 24 hours to rescue her ex from a horde of intergalactic incels in Le***an Space Princess.
→ Fathers of trans and nonbinary kids gather in a cabin where they can finally admit that they are scared in The Dads.
→ Five brilliant and amazing stories told in 20 minutes or less in the Short Films Program.

Five short films. 70 minutes. Two ghost stories. One wedding. One diner on Valentine's Day. A first date that goes gloriously sideways.

The Short Films Program brings together five of the year's most inventive LGBTQ+ shorts, ranging from a ghost comedy in Phnom Penh to a wedding cèilidh in the Scottish Hebrides to a Valentine's Day shift at a diner in rural Missouri.

🎬 I'm the Most Racist Person I Know: A pity date between two women of color turns real, then turns uncomfortable.

🎬 The Pink Funeral: A trans Chinese girl comes back as a ghost to fight for her own proper burial.

🎬 Kiloran Bay: A musical starring Alan Cu***ng and Jack Wolfe, set amid the fierce joy of a Hebridean wedding.
