Give to Lincoln Day is here! A letter from our Executive Director, Dr. Julie Murray-Jensen:
"This year, perhaps more than ever, I feel proud of the steadiness of the Foundry. Across our community, nonprofits and public service organizations are navigating a moment where the needs are growing rapidly while funding dollars are increasingly competitive. The work is not getting easier, but it is becoming even more important. Through it all, the Foundry has remained stable, hopeful, collaborative, and committed to serving as a place where good work can grow.
Because of supporters like you, we are entering an exciting new chapter. This coming year will bring significant momentum for the Foundry Community Foundation, including the expansion of our physical space through the purchase of the building next door. This investment will allow us to add ten new private offices and serve even more nonprofits and mission-driven organizations working to strengthen our community. We are also thrilled by the continued growth of the Intern Foundry program in both Lincoln and across Nebraska, helping cultivate and retain talented young leaders committed to service, innovation, and Nebraska’s future.
At the same time, our focus remains not simply on growth, but on depth of service. In the year ahead, we are committed to deepening the impact of Intern Foundry, strengthening the collaborative spirit and shared community within our spaces, and launching new capacity-building trainings and opportunities this fall that we believe will bring meaningful support to nonprofit leaders and organizations throughout our region.
The Foundry exists because people like you believe in community, in service, and in investing in the organizations and people doing important work every day. On Give to Lincoln Day, we encourage everyone to support Lincoln nonprofits in whatever ways they can. We also hope you will consider supporting the Foundry Community Foundation as part of your giving.
We simply could not do this work without you."
