Today, we received the most beautiful reminder of the impact a grant can have.

Dawson/Gosper County CASA shared their gratitude after Fly Like Chi was able to provide a laptop for a young man in foster care who is attending the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

He is the first in his family to pursue higher education. Having the technology he needs isn’t just about a laptop — it’s about giving him another tool to succeed, another reason to believe in himself, and another investment in his future.

We are incredibly honored to be able to say YES when a young person needs an opportunity.

You may know Malachi as a football player.

But there’s another part of his story that means just as much to him.

Fly Like Chi. 🦋

Malachi started Fly Like Chi to give kids in foster care opportunities to discover their passions through sports, the arts and activities that help them see what’s possible.

Yesterday was a great day on the football field. And while we’re incredibly proud of the athlete he’s becoming, we’re even more proud of the young man who remembers where he came from and wants to create opportunities for other kids.

Happy Father's Day!

Today we celebrate the dads who lead, love, teach, encourage, and show up every day.

And we honor the coaches, mentors, foster dads, grandfathers, teachers, volunteers, and all the men who step in when a child needs someone in their corner.

At Fly Like Chi, we've seen firsthand how one caring adult can change the trajectory of a child's life.

To every man making a difference in the life of a young person—thank you.

Yesterday was bigger than a fundraiser. It was a reminder that this community shows up for kids in foster care in a powerful way. 💙

Because of YOU, this was our best Give to Lincoln Day yet. Every donation, share, comment, and word of encouragement helps us continue creating opportunities for kids to pursue their passions in arts, athletics, and activities through Fly Like Chi.

We are incredibly grateful to every donor who believed in our mission and chose to invest in these kids and their futures.
