❤️ His story is bigger than football. His purpose is bigger than himself.

Today, the Wisconsin State Journal shared Malachi Coleman’s powerful story — a journey through childhood trauma, foster care, healing, and ultimately discovering his own worth.

But what makes us most proud isn’t just how far Malachi has come. It’s what he has chosen to do with his story.

Through Fly Like Chi, Malachi is helping youth in foster care access the sports, arts, music, and activities that give them opportunities to discover their passions, build confidence, and see possibilities for their future.

Because every child deserves the chance to find something they love. Every child deserves to feel valued. And every child deserves to know their past does not define their future.

This is why Fly Like Chi exists. This is the heart behind the mission. And this is why we’ll keep showing up for kids in care. 🦋

Some moments are bigger than the game. ❤️

Last night, Malachi stepped onto the field at Lambeau and showed what happens when a kid is given the opportunity to chase something bigger.

4 catches. 76 yards. A touchdown.
But the stat line only tells part of the story.

Fly Like Chi exists because we believe every child deserves the chance to discover what they’re capable of — whether that’s through sports, the arts, or simply having someone say, “Yes. You can do this.”

We’re incredibly proud of Malachi, not just for what he did on the field, but for continuing to show kids what’s possible.

Once, he was the kid chasing the dream.

Now, he gets to be the person showing other kids that their dreams are possible, too.

From a kid with a dream… to a young man helping other kids believe in theirs.

That’s what Fly Like Chi is all about. ❤️

Tonight, he takes the field at Lambeau.

And no matter where the game takes him, we’ll always be most proud of the way he turns around and reaches back for the kids coming behind him.

Today, we received the most beautiful reminder of the impact a grant can have.

Dawson/Gosper County CASA shared their gratitude after Fly Like Chi was able to provide a laptop for a young man in foster care who is attending the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

He is the first in his family to pursue higher education. Having the technology he needs isn’t just about a laptop — it’s about giving him another tool to succeed, another reason to believe in himself, and another investment in his future.

We are incredibly honored to be able to say YES when a young person needs an opportunity.

We don’t just want kids in foster care to dream about their future.
