A $5,000 grant. A stronger emergency response system. A safer community.

Because of donor support, the Hazard Fire Department is upgrading critical communications infrastructure used during fires, accidents, natural disasters, and other emergencies. The grant will help replace aging communications equipment, strengthening communication between first responders when every second counts.

For many children, summer means time with friends, new experiences, and making memories. But for some families, it can also mean losing access to dependable daily meals.
That's why this $5,000 Community Grant to ABLE Families matters.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, more than 120 children in Mingo County have received nutritious meals this summer while participating in programs that help them learn, grow, and simply enjoy being kids.
