National is just around the corner!

One of the most powerful ways to celebrate is to advocate for agricultural education and help others understand the impact our profession has on students and communities.

Here are two ideas to get your students advocating for our profession and agricultural education:

🔵 Partner with your city, county, or state government to secure an official National Day proclamation recognizing the importance of agricultural education and agricultural educators. A sample National Day Proclamation will be available for download in the National Day Media Kit.

🔵 Have students write letters to local lawmakers highlighting the importance of agricultural education and advocating for more ag teachers. You can use the ACTE Legislative Action Center to find contact information for your legislators.
