📣Hey book people—we need you!
So, here’s the funny thing about having an awesome bookstore full of great books: people keep coming in to buy them!
Thanks to all of you spreading the word about International Book Project’s store, things have been busy lately! We LOVE that more people are finding us (and finding books they love), and we could use a few more book-loving humans to help keep things running smoothly.
Enter: YOU, our potential bookstore volunteer!📖✨
We’re looking for friendly, outgoing folks who love books, enjoy chatting with people, and want to help support IBP’s mission of getting books into the hands of people in need around the world.
Potential volunteers need to be:
💙Age 18 or older
⌚Able to commit to at least one 2 or 3-hour shift per week between 9am-5pm M-F
📚Outgoing and happy to help customers find their next great read
📦Willing and able to help donors bring boxes of book donations inside (boxes may weigh up to 50 pounds)
🌟Okay with helping keep the bookstore neat and tidy by straightening shelves, dusting, and sweeping as needed
Here’s the best part: When the store is quiet, you might just get to spend some of your volunteer shift browsing the shelves and reading a little yourself!😉
Every book sold helps offset our operating expenses and supports our mission to promote literacy and get books to communities worldwide. You’ll be doing more than straightening shelves—you’ll be helping us change lives, one book at a time.🌏
Think you’d be a good fit? Know someone who would? Send us a DM or email [email protected] to learn more!
We’d love it if you’d share this post with your favorite book people. We can’t wait to meet you!💛
