Jia's Christmas Mission

Tonight we returned to where it all started and spent the evening helping SERVE with their Monday dinner.
It was an opportunity to allow another young heart to experience the joy of helping others and see first hand that the stereotypical labels given to homeless and those less fortunate are not always true.
If it’s on your heart to give back SERVE is a wonderful way to do so. They meet every Monday evening at 6:00pm at the New Life Day Center of Lexington. You can bring a dish of your choice or whatever you can afford. For more information please check out their page.

Well we just had another wonderful visit with Kristen Edwards from LEX18. She came to do a follow up with Jiana that will air on the 6 o’clock news tonight.
We cannot thank EVERYONE enough for all your donations and support. This has been such an incredible experience all around.
Jiana has already decided she wants to continue this tradition again next year. Continue to follow this page and join the group for updates.

We want to thank everyone who donated, shared this page or even just said a little prayer for Jiana’s success and safety. EVERYONE & EVERYTHING is what made this mission possible!
Jiana worked really hard trying to get everything together so she was a little tired starting off last night. Between the second and third stop she caught her second wind.
We drove around until close to 10pm through all of downtown and any other areas we have seen frequented by any homeless. There was a few stops we didn’t go live because there was only the 3 of us and sometimes it takes all hands and eyes to stay safe and serve.
We do have care packages left over and I will keep some in my van at all times (until we run out) so that when we see someone in need we can gift them one. If anyone knows of an area that they see someone in need please feel free to send us a message and we will try to get their way.
Again thank you all!! Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and may you all find many blessings in the new year.

Sorry everybody the first live did not go as well as planned. Jiana is super tired because she’s worked really hard all day finishing wrapping the bags. My helpers did not show up so I’m trying to juggle serving food, handing out packages and a camera. Please bare with us. 😁

Ok everyone, we are loaded up and heading out. Sorry we are running behind but some of our helpers didn’t show. It will take about an hour to get to Lexington. I will try to go live at the first stop. Everyone have a blessed Christmas!

We have some exciting news!!!!.....Kristen Edwards from LEX18 News just stopped by and interviewed Jiana. The segment will be airing at 6pm tonight. For those of you who do not have Lex18, Ms Edwards advises it will also be on their website. 🤯🥰

I promised everyone an update on the final count. I wanted to let everyone know Jiana has reached her goal 🤗 of 50 items in each category. She couldn’t have done it without the help of some very special people.

Round 2 (and hopefully our last this season) of all the gently used donated items have been washed, dried, folded/rolled and taped. Final count of items should be up by tomorrow evening.
