Annual Premier Juried Exhibition

The Visual Art League of Lewisville is now accepting entries for Fresh Ideas 2026, a juried exhibition to be held at the Lewisville Grand Theater Main Art Gallery in Lewisville, Texas.

🏆 Awards
• 1st Place — $1,000 and a solo exhibition at the Lewisville Grand Theater the following summer
• 2nd Place — $500
• 3rd Place — $250
• Six Honorable Mentions — $100 each
• People's Choice Award — $100

Open to all visual artists age 18 and older residing in Texas.

📅 Important Dates
• Entry Deadline: July 31, 2026, at 11:59 PM (Mountain Time)
• Artist Notifications: August 7–8, 2026
• Exhibition Dates: August 22 – September 26, 2026
• Opening Reception: August 22, 2026 | 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Strike: September 28, 2026

Shards and Stories: How a Mosaic Artist and a Thriller Writer Collaborate

In this interactive conversation, two artists explore how collaborating across different media has inspired their work, given them fresh eyes, and supported them in stretching beyond their comfort zones.

• 🖼️ Visual Art League of Lewisville members are encouraged to bring a piece of artwork for Artist of the Month. First and second place awards will be given.
