Help us make Christmas a little sweeter! 🎄🍪

This Christmas, CCA is preparing to serve 1,500 local children, and we need businesses like yours to help make it happen! 💛

Become an official Christmas Cheer Drop-Off Site by hosting a toy collection box through December 4. It’s a simple, meaningful way for your employees, customers, and community to come together and give back.

🎁 Collect new, unwrapped toys for kids ages 0–18
📣 We’ll provide resources to help you promote your drive
🚚 We’ll coordinate getting the toys to Christmas Cheer, where parents can pick out gifts for their children

Cook Children’s is joined us to teach our neighbors how to grow their own Swiss chard! 🥬 Participants took home a bag of ingredients and a recipe so they can cook their very own lentil soup using what they grow. 🍲

We love seeing our community rally around healthy choices, and we can’t wait to watch these new gardeners get growing! 💚

We’re still thinking about last Sunday’s REJOICE concert! 🎶💛

What a beautiful night of music, worship, and community. Thank you to everyone who came out, lifted their voices, and gave so generously to support Christian Community Action. Your donations will go straight to helping neighbors in need right here in our community, and we are so grateful. 🙏

A special thank you to Trietsch Memorial UMC for hosting, and to Creekwood Christian Church, Westside, and First Lewisville for making this night possible. What a gift it is to see the Church come together like this! ✨

🌎 Today is World Food Day, and a full table is something every family deserves. 🌎

Right here in our own community, there are families who are making hard choices between groceries and other basic needs. Behind every statistic is a neighbor, a child, a parent, or a senior who is hoping for a meal tonight. 🧡

You can help, and there are lots of ways to do it:
🥫 Give to the CCA Food Pantry by donating non-perishable food or making a gift
📦 Host a food drive with your family, school, church, team, or workplace
🤝 Share this post so more neighbors know how to help
Every can, every box, and every gift helps put food on a neighbor’s table. Together, we can make sure no one in our community goes hungry. 💛

Because of you, our neighbors are finding hope, stability, and a path forward. ❤️

In September alone, your generosity helped keep 92 individuals safely housed, provided 270,687 meals through the CCA Food Market, and made 88 counseling sessions available to neighbors who needed support.

These numbers represent more than services. They represent families staying in their homes, parents putting food on the table, and neighbors having someone to walk alongside them during a difficult season.
Thank you for making this work possible. Together, we are helping our neighbors move toward brighter tomorrows. ❤️
