Summer hunger is real for too many children in our community.

When school ends, many kids lose access to the meals they depend on each day. Through Christian Community Action’s Kids Eat Free program, local children will receive food each week all summer long so families don’t have to face that burden alone.

But we can’t do it without you.

We are excited to celebrate two amazing coworkers here at Christian Community Action as they graduate from local Chamber Leadership programs! 🎉

Congratulations to Jim Sullivan, who served as the Valedictorian of the Leadership Coppell Class Coppell Chamber of Commerce and Melissa Gomez, who graduated from Leadership Lewisville through the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce.

These programs are designed to equip and inspire community leaders by connecting participants with local leaders, community issues, and opportunities to grow their impact. Through months of learning, collaboration, and leadership development, Jim and Melissa have represented CCA with excellence and heart.

At CCA, we believe leadership happens every day through service, compassion, and investing in others. We are so proud of the way Jim and Melissa continue to lead in our community and champion our mission of serving neighbors in need.

Summer is here, and for many children, that means losing access to dependable school meals.

Through Kids Eat Free, Christian Community Action is preparing now to help provide weekly summer food support for 1,250 children across our community. But we cannot do it alone.

This Memorial Day, all of us at Christian Community Action pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸
