September may be ending, but the fight against childhood cancer is not.

Once you know the reality of childhood cancer, you cannot look away. These children are not statistics. They are somebody’s baby. Somebody’s whole world. They were deeply loved, deeply wanted, and they deserved more — more birthdays, more laughter, more milestones, more time.

Tonight, we remember the six beautiful children honored at our gala as Hannah’s Hope Angels. Each one had a name. A family. A story. Dreams that should have had the chance to continue.

They should still be here.

Childhood cancer does not stop when September ends, and neither can our awareness, our support, or our fight. We will continue to speak their names, stand beside families, and fight for every child still battling — every single day of the year.

Because once you know, looking away is no longer an option.

A life. A family. A future changed forever.

Childhood cancer continues to take far too many children from the people who love them. Behind every number is a name, a story, and a family learning how to live with an unimaginable absence.

This is why we fight. This is why we advocate. This is why Hannah’s Hope exists.

For Hannah, and for every child taken too soon.

If you have lost a child to cancer, or know a child or teen who has passed away from cancer, we invite you to share their name in the comments. Let us remember them, honor them, and say their names. 💛

Some moments are impossible to put into words.

After everything childhood cancer has asked of Alan and his family, hearing that bell ring carried so much meaning — strength, courage, tears, hope, and a milestone they fought so hard to reach.
