Haitian Pilgrims

Haitian Pilgrims Committed to helping the poorest of the poor in Haiti, we develop programs to help villagers in Haiti become more self-sufficient.

We are helping villages in Haiti become self-sustaining. We help them help themselves through education, micro-credit, agriculture training, medicine, and wells for clean water. We are a grassroots organization guided by Matthew 25:40, “Whatsoever you did to these, the least of my brothers and sisters, you did to me.”

We are very excited to share with you the three 2024 MNSP beneficiaries receiving their laptops, backpacks and solar lamps. All three are attending UNDH. Gladynie Beauzile is studying Medicine, Molin Emmanuel is studying Agronomy and Daphka Joseph is studying Nursing. Hopefully all three become future leaders and contributors benefiting Haiti!

Thank you for your prayers and donations! We couldn't do any of this without your support!

🌧️ Village Update from Boileau, Haiti 🌧️
We’ve been in close contact with Dr. Kellide throughout the recent storm. Out of caution, the Clinic and School were closed starting Thursday, October 23, due to heavy rains, strong winds, and flash flooding. Families living near the Boileau River were safely evacuated in advance, and while the clinic was offered as emergency shelter, local guards confirmed it wasn’t needed—thanks to the community’s thoughtful preparation.

🙏 The tragic loss of life was reported in Petit Goave, a southern region far from Les Cayes. We spoke with Father Lima on Wednesday, and he did not report any devastation in the Boileau area.

💙 Despite ongoing rains, the Boileau Clinic reopened on October 31 and has already served its first patient. We’re grateful for the resilience and care shown by everyone involved.

Thank you for keeping the village of Boileau in your prayers. We’ll continue to share updates as we receive them.

🌟 Gratitude in Action: Phase III Begins! 🌟

Thank you for your unwavering support of the Sainte Therese de Boileau Institution Reconstruction Phase III in Haiti. Because of your boundless generosity and faithfulness, lives are being transformed—especially those of God’s children most in need.
After a brief delay, construction officially began on July 4, 2025, with a new contractor and technical team. Crews have already started laying the foundational walls for two new three-classroom buildings—the first step toward a safe, dignified learning environment for the children of Boileau.

This phase will also include:
- 🧱 Chalkboard installation
- 💧 Water well drilling
- ☀️ Solar power setup
- 🌧️ Rainwater collection system

Your compassion and generosity is a living reflection of Christ’s love. You are reminding these students and their families that they are not forgotten—and that hope is rising, one brick at a time.

🌿 A Story of Hope and Healing in Boileau 🌿

Meet Mrs. Ercilia Marcelin, a remarkable 103-year-old resident of l’Oiseau, a neighboring community of Boileau in Les Cayes, Haiti. When she arrived at the Boileau Clinic, she was suffering from severe weakness, loss of appetite, heartburn, and days of sleeplessness.

Too frail to return for follow-up care, Mrs. Marcelin received weekly home visits from Dr. Kellide, who administered intravenous treatment with the support of our dedicated clinic nurses. After just three weeks, her transformation was nothing short of inspiring—on September 12, she was not only out of bed but strong enough to sweep her own yard!

Her family is deeply grateful for the compassionate care she received and for the generous support of Haitian Pilgrims donors who make this kind of healing possible. 💙

This is just one example of how Haitian Pilgrims continues to bring life-changing healthcare to communities in need. Thank you for being part of this mission!

Dear Friends of Haitian Pilgrims! We need your prayers. Food For The Poor is our managing partner for the St. Therese School Building Project and they have informed us that conditions in Port-au-Prince are causing issues in allowing the construction team out of the city and down to Boileau. These delays are preventing us from completing the project. Please pray for Peace in Haiti as well as safety for all those who work for Food For The Poor.

Meet Annie Boisette, an 82 y/o patient of our Boileau Clinic, who had stopped showing up for her appointments as her health started to decline. She became bedridden with severe low back pain and lower extremities weakness, that made it hard to walk. She had difficulty performing her activities of daily living including grooming and feeding. A family member informed Dr Kellide of her situation, Dr. Kellide began going to her home weekly with a nurse, to provide her medical care at home. Her health started improving slowly, and a month later she was able to get out of bed, and now she’s back taking care of herself again. She’s very grateful for the care that Dr. Kellide and the nurses provided to her. She hasn’t missed an opportunity to share her testimony with others in the community… She says the clinic is truly God sent.

Thank you to all of our Donors. Your Donations are truly making a difference in the lives of Haitians.
