Today our friend June Campbell dropped off these beautiful blankets that she made for our Veteran friends! June is extremely talented and loves being able to make blankets for Veterans. She has many family members who are Veterans, including her son Brendon. She knows first hand how important these men and women are! Thank you June for volunteering with us

June also makes and sells dishcloths at Leola Flea Market here in the War Memorial building. Please consider showing her support as a thank you for all that she does!

⭐️ We kicked off our Honor Now program this morning at the annual War Memorial Veterans breakfast. Our first Honoree is long time War Memorial board member, Army Veteran, Gene Rodgers.

Gene Rodgers, we thank you for your military service and your years of dedication to the War Memorial Association.

Gene received an Afghan and certificate of recognition. Pictured with Gene is War Memorial presidential Bob Zook and Vice President Tim Chopp. 🇺🇸

After tonight’s board meeting more discussion was had about moving this program forward. We are so excited of the ideas members of this group have, and we are ready to get to work making this program so helpful to Veterans who deserve to be thanked and helped.
