The Women's Resource Center's next Womenade cycle is now open!

Womenade works to help individuals who are otherwise self-sufficient, but are experiencing a temporary set-back or financial hardship, by providing financial assistance through one-time grants of up to $500.

We had a great time co-hosting our first ever Pink Moon & Pumpkins event last week with UNC Health Caldwell & Caldwell Women's Forum!

All proceeds raised benefitted The Wig Bank of Caldwell County, who also served as our host location!

November is National Family Caregivers Month.

Behind so many individuals receiving care is a family member, friend, or loved one providing support, often balancing work, family, and their own personal needs.

Family caregivers play an essential role in the health and well-being of our community. Whether it's helping with daily tasks, coordinating medical appointments, or simply offering emotional support, their dedication makes a difference every day.

At United Way of Caldwell County, we recognize the compassion, patience, and sacrifices of those who care for others. We also know that caregivers need support too.

Happy Halloween! This week has been a real TREAT! On Tuesday, we helped host an event that raised $500 for breast cancer awareness at The Wig Bank of Caldwell County!

On Tuesday we gave out candy, prizes, books, and mental health and 211 resources at Caldwell County Smart Start's Book Bash!

And last night we dished up candy to hundreds of trick or treaters at The Rotary Club of Lenoir & BO's Bodacious Entertainment's Annual Trunk or Treat!

We hope everyone has a safe and fun Halloween tomorrow!

This week, we kicked off our Workplace Campaign with Shuford Yarns' Dudley Shoals plant!

For over 20 years, Shuford Yarns and its employees have supported the United Way of Caldwell County, helping us make a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors.

Their longstanding commitment to giving back helps us strengthen local programs, support nonprofit partners, and helps us operate our Weekend Backpack Food Program, Classroom United, and Be Well Caldwell!

Books, candy, prizes, and lots of smiles!

We had a wonderful time at last night's Book Bash, hosted by Caldwell County Smart Start!

We loved seeing so many families come out and were excited to spread the word about NC 211 and share our mental health resources through Be Well Caldwell.

A big thank you to the Smart Start team for hosting such a fun event to bring our community together.

Join us TONIGHT at BO's Bodacious Entertainment's Trunk or Treat tonight from 6:30-8:00pm!

We'll be there with our Classroom United: A United Way Resource for Teachers themed trunk and we can't wait to see all the creative costumes!

Yesterday, we hosted our first Caldwell Community Partners gathering, in collaboration with The Caldwell Chamber!

Our goal is to better connect our nonprofits and health and human service agencies in Caldwell County.

We want to strengthen relationships, share resources, identify community needs, reduce duplication of efforts, and encourage more collaboration.
