Caldwell County NC Beekeepers Association We are a public association open to anyone interested in honeybees, apiaries, or honey production.

Meetings are held the third Thursday of every month @ 6:30, currently on Zoom but otherwise at the United Presbyterian Church in Lenoir, NC.

The next CCNCBA regular meeting will be Thursday September 19th starting at 6:30, it will be our annual picnic, and will be held at the Greenway Presbyterian Church located at 415 Pennell Street Lenoir, outside at the picnic shelter. Meat, buns, drinks, plates, cups, napkins, forks, and ice will be provided. We will need covered dish item and desserts. Suggestion ideas: Baked beans, pasta salad, slaw, potato salad, slice tomatoes, chili, pickles, sliced/diced onions, lettuce, chips, cakes, pies, brownies, cookies, mayo, ketchup, and mustard...what ever you would want to bring will be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to seeing you all there. DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOU BEST UNLABELED JAR OF HONEY FOR THE BLACK JAR TASTE CONTEST. We have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons!!

Good evening all,
Thursday February 15th will be the regular monthly meeting. The speaker will be Lewis Cauble, State Apiary Inspector. He will be speaking on varroa mites, pests and diseases of the hive. It will be good for all to come hear, and it will coincide with new students that came to the beginners bee school. Make plans to attend this very informative meeting! ANNOUNCEMENT!!
2024 Annual Beginner Beekeeping School will be: 10, 15, and 17

Saturday Feb. 10 the location is downstairs at the Caldwell County Public Library. Located at 120 Hospital Avenue, Lenoir, NC 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Thursday February 15th will coincide with the regular monthly meeting which is held at the United Presbyterian Church located at 415 Pennell Street Lenoir NC 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm

Saturday February 17th will be back at the Public Library downstairs. 8:30 am - 4:30 pm

The cost is $125 couples, $85 for individuals. These fees will include books, and materials, as well as 2024 Annual State Beekeepers Association dues and also the 2024 annual Caldwell Beekeepers Association dues.
