I’m offering my support of the 1st MCED test as a prostate cancer survivor and co-founder of the Prostate Network. My role helping men navigate cancer has put me in a mirage of places where I advocate and educate on men’s health. What I learned is that men simply don’t and never will approach health screenings like women. The health care system has a grip on women and they seek medical care more often. Men on the other hand avoid it like a badge of honor and when it comes to prostate cancer screening the trend is horrific. What I’d been hoping for decades was a game changing way to catch prostate cancer. And I’m convinced an effective wide spread MCED test can be the game changer we’ve forever needed. I’ll leave it to the scientists and doctors to evaluate the GRAIL test, but please note almost 36,000 men in the USA died from prostate cancer in 2025. And when caught early the survival rates are virtually 100%. My hope is that GRAIL can finally put a major dent in these deaths due to a lack of an effective early detection approach.
