🏈❤️ MORE THAN FOOTBALL!

Last week, Neil Smith and Derrion Thomas joined the guys of The Red Hour to recap the Chiefs vs. Raiders game, but some of the best moments were spent with the next generation!

Neil and Derrion had a great time hanging out with Grindtime Sports, the L'Jarius Sneed Youth Team of the Week!

The young athletes and their coaches joined The Red Hour crew for interviews, football talk, pictures, and plenty of laughs!

At the Derrick Thomas / Neil Smith Third & Long Foundation, moments like these mean so much. Seeing Neil and Derrion connecting with young athletes is a reminder that the legacy of giving back continues through generations.

It's about more than football. It's about encouraging our youth, building relationships, and making sure the next generation knows they have people cheering them on!

The Red Hour is off this week for the Chiefs bye week, but the crew will be back Monday, October 19!

It's bigger than football. It's about the next generation! ❤️🏈

WHEW… the red carpet is about to have a little extra DRIP this year! 🔥

Meet Kina Gunnels and Sha’Ron Turner of The Polished Playbook, our first ever Digital and Red Carpet Hosts for An Evening with Greats!

These two love the Chiefs, sports, football and a good look just as much as the rest of us. Sha’Ron is a Chiefs content creator who knows how to talk football and keep the Kingdom in the conversation. Kina is outside at the tailgates checking for the fly fits and finding out who really came dressed to win.

They’re football girlies. They’re moms. They know the game. And they know a LOOK when they see one!

So don’t just come dressed. Come RED CARPET READY because Kina and Sha’Ron will be catching the arrivals, the fits, the interviews and everything happening behind the scenes.

Follow the Third and Long Foundation on Facebook and Instagram all month long as Kina and Sha’Ron help us get ready for An Evening with Greats.

The countdown is on… and baby, we’re coming with some flavor! WOO! 🔥

Neil, Derrion and our Youth Ambassador Payton came out to support our friends at the annual Deron Cherry Foundation Golf Tournament! Good laughs, great company and a whole lot of love for the community.

“Hi, may I help you?” If you’re from Kansas City, you already know! ❤️💛

For more than six decades, **Ollie Gates** has helped make Gates Bar-B-Q a Kansas City institution. An engineer, businessman, restaurateur, and former 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mr. Gates transformed his family’s business while protecting the tradition that made it special.

From expanding Gates across the metro to creating “Rib Tech” and being inducted into the American Royal Barbecue Hall of Fame, his influence can be felt throughout Kansas City and far beyond.

Mr. Gates is also a longtime supporter of the Derrick Thomas/Neil Smith Third and Long Foundation. Through Gates Bar-B-Q’s partnership with **Neil Smith**, he continues to support the community and help bring families together through the annual holiday lighting celebration.

Join us as we honor a true Kansas City legend, **Mr. Ollie Gates**, at **An Evening with Greats**!
