Anam Cara literally translated from Gaelic means “Soul Friend.” In the Celtic tradition, an Anam Cara is a teacher, companion or spiritual guide. With an Anam Cara you can share your innermost self to reveal the hidden intimacies of your life, your mind and your heart. In everyone’s life, there is a great need for an Anam Cara, a soul friend who accepts you for who you are where you are and accomp

anies you on the path of self discovery and self acceptance. In this relationship, you are understood as you are, without mask or pretention. They help us heal and bring us home to our authentic selves. Inspired by John O'Donohue's Anam Cara: A Book of Celtic Wisdom

We are honored to welcome Lulu Agan of Sacred Energy Healing to Anam Cara this July.

Earlier this spring, our Executive Director experienced Lulu’s work during a retreat and immediately knew this was something our community would value.

Through breathwork, Reiki, Kundalini Activation Process (KAP), and sound, participants are invited into a space of relaxation, self-awareness, and reconnection.

Release. Reconnect. Remember.

July 7 | 4:00–6:00 PM | Anam Cara

Space is limited to 12 participants. Register early to reserve your spot.

Happy Pride Month, everyone! 🌈

Celebrate Pride month with us this Thursday at the Red Horse Center for Collaborative Leadership as we host an essential part of our Allyship Series: Becoming an LGBTQ+ Ally.

This in-person workshop, presented by Erin Bissonette, is designed to actively engage participants in understanding and supporting the LGBTQ+ community. You'll learn practical ways to foster inclusion and build relationships that cultivate trust and connection. Already an ally? You can still embrace this chance to share ideas, learn from others, and work together in creating positive community impact!

Dads of LGBTQ kids…. ❤️🌈❤️

Calling all dads of LGBTQ+ kids! Our PFLAG Connects: Dad Community offers free virtual meetings led by skilled facilitators (many of them dads themselves) who guide attendees in receiving support, giving support, and finding resources to help their loved ones, families, and communities. Every meeting also includes a breakout room especially for dads of transgender and gender-diverse kids of all ages.

“Being part of a support group is deeply therapeutic, incredibly valuable, and important. It helps us understand that we are not alone on this journey—that others are facing similar challenges and that we can learn from their experiences. It also plays a crucial role in educating us about this new reality for those of us who are parents of someone with different preferences. Knowing that a community of parents exists, all seeking support, helps me better understand how to assist other parents " —Member of the PCC: Dad Community

These one-hour meetings take place on the third Tuesday of every month at 8pm ET/5pm PT, with our next meeting scheduled for June 16.
