🎨❤️🤍💙 Three Oaks, you sure colored the village.

What started as a new way to celebrate Flag Day quickly became something special.

From front porches and picket fences to neighborhood-wide displays, residents across town transformed our village into a sea of red, white, and blue.

As the entries rolled in, it became clear there wasn’t just one way to “Color the Village.” Every home brought something unique, and choosing a single winner became nearly impossible.

So instead, we created a few categories to recognize the many different ways our community showed its spirit.

Congratulations to all of this year’s winners!

The Neighborhood Spirit Award winners will receive a block party after collectively transforming an entire stretch of Elm Street into a celebration of community pride.

All other category winners will receive winner recognition to proudly display as one of our 2026 Color the Village winners.

Award recipients are asked to email [email protected] so we can coordinate prize details.

Thank you to everyone who decorated, participated, and helped make our village shine a little brighter this Flag Day season.

Let’s do it even bigger for the 75th ⭐️

Well, yesterday was pretty special.

The weather was perfect, the streets were full, and there was a whole lot of Three Oaks spirit on display.

Now for the grand finale.

A little rain this morning, but the sun should be back in time for the Opening Ceremony and the 74th Annual Flag Day Parade. If you’ve already put your chairs out, you may just have to give them a quick wipe-down before the fun begins.

See you downtown. 🇺🇸

Well… that was sure fun 🙌

Three Oaks showed up last night.

Now it’s Saturday, the sun is shining, and we’ve got a full day ahead of us. If you’re looking for something to do, chances are you’ll find it somewhere around town today.

See you out there!

🛺 Not participating? Come anyway.

One of the best parts of Flag Day is that you don’t have to be in every event to enjoy it.

Tonight’s After Dark Parade begins at 9:30 PM, with decorated golf carts, bikes, side-by-sides, and plenty of hometown creativity rolling through the streets of Three Oaks.

Find a spot along the route and help us cheer them on.

It’s a fun way to end a beautiful Flag Day Friday. ❤️🤍💙

There’s something special about the evening before Flag Day weekend begins. 🎶

Join the School of American Music for a Community Patriotic Sing-Along tonight at 6:30 PM at the Spring Creek Stage. Then head over to the Three Oaks American Legion Post 204 for a Flag Salute at 8:00 PM.

Bring a chair. Bring your voice. Or simply come enjoy an evening with friends and neighbors.

☔ We’ll be keeping an eye on the weather throughout the day. If Mother Nature has other plans, we’ll sing at the American Legion Pavilion.

We’ll keep everyone posted right here in the comments…

What do a community event space and an internet company have in common?

Connection.

One brings people together under one roof. The other helps keep them connected across town and beyond.

Our sponsors are more than just logos. They’re the faces—and part of the reason this community stays connected. 🇺🇸 👋

Not everyone runs the Flag Day 5K the same way.

Some people chase medals. Some people chase bragging rights. Some people show up in a red, white, and blue tutu.

The good news? They all count.

And with Saturday morning looking awfully nice, this might be the perfect year to join us ☀️

There’s still time to register:

👆🇺🇸 Look up. 🇺🇸👆

Bill Donner and Eleanor Dunlop have joined more than 75 local veterans being honored throughout downtown as part of the Veterans Honor Walk.

You’ll find their banner in front of Village Hall.

Bill will lead Sunday’s parade as this year’s Flag Day Grand Marshal, and Eleanor will be recognized during Saturday’s Quilts of Valor presentation in Carver Park.

As you make your way through town this weekend, take a moment to look up—and if you’re lucky, say hello in person too. 👋
