Our first MISSION UP workshop, Communications for Nonprofits, was a mission success! Twenty-four La Porte County nonprofit leaders joined us for a day filled with engaging conversations and actionable takeaways to help us tell our organizations' stories.

Our goal is to learn more about the needs, challenges, strengths, and hopes of the nonprofit community here in La Porte County.

To best do that, we need YOUR voice!

👉We want to hear from as many nonprofit staff members, board members, volunteers, and supporters as possible to ensure that we are building an inclusive, expansive, and accurate understanding of the realities for nonprofits in La Porte County.

We are pleased to announce the release of the 2026 Large Grants Program Grant Opportunity Overview & Request for Applications (RFA).

This funding opportunity invites organizations doing impactful work in HFL's focus areas of Attainable Housing (AH), Healthy Eating Active Living (HEAL), and Mental Health and Substance Use (MHSU) in La Porte County to submit applications that demonstrate how they will contribute to achieving one or more objectives in that focus area.

Please refer to the RFA for additional details, including the objectives and strategies within each focus area, eligibility criteria, and application process and requirements.
